1994 Land Rover Discovery

Automobiles

Many changes were made to the Discovery in 1994. The 200Tdi and 3.5-litre V8 gave way to the 2.5-litre 300Tdi and a 3.9-litre V8, a stronger R380 manual gearbox was fitted, and the headlamps were larger with a second set of lights in the bumper. The interior was completely revised, dropping most of the original design for a soft-feel dashboard with parts from the Rover 800 that allowed airbags to be fitted. 1994 was also the first model year in which the Discovery was sold in the United States.
