1994 Ford Escort (Europe)

Automobiles

The Escort RS Cosworth carried on in 1994 as Ford's rally homologation car, with 2,500 road going cars sold to meet the rules and demand so high that Ford kept producing them. From June 1994 later cars used a smaller turbo than the homologation versions, and the whale tail spoiler became an optional extra. The rest of the Mark V range continued with the Zetec engines and the facelift look introduced in September 1992 before the revised sixth generation arrived in January 1995.
