A driver side airbag was introduced in the Bronco for 1994, and the Bronco became powered solely by V8 engines, as the 4.9 liter inline six was withdrawn. The Eddie Bauer edition introduced an overhead console for 1994, along with lighted sun visors and an auto dimming rear view mirror, offered as options on the XLT. Another variant of the XLT was a two tone light teal green and white, of which about 600 were produced each year.
