Production of the Shadow and Sundance ended on March 9, 1994, with the Shadow and Sundance being replaced by the Dodge and Plymouth Neon. The Dodge Shadow had been introduced for the 1987 model year and sold as a three door and five door hatchback and, from 1991, as a two door convertible. It was built at Sterling Heights Assembly in Michigan and, in Mexico, at Toluca. The Shadow was a compact car.
