The 1993 Toyota T100 featured a full size eight foot pickup bed on the engine and suspension of the compact Truck, launched in November 1992. In 1993 a 2.7 liter inline four engine with 150 horsepower was added in the hope of drawing buyers with greater fuel economy and a lower price. This was the first model year of the Toyota T100 (single generation), 1993 to 1998, the first generation covered for the Toyota T100; the 1994 model year follows it.
