1993 Mitsubishi Galant

Automobiles

Production in the United States began on 24 May 1993, when the first seventh generation Galant rolled off the assembly line in Normal, Illinois. A five door liftback derivative made its world premiere at the February 1993 Dutch Motor Show, and in Asia, in the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia, the seventh generation sedan appeared in late 1993. The name Galant comes from the French word for chivalrous. The Galant evolved from a compact sedan into a mid-size car over its life.
