The model was already giving way to the LH platform Chrysler Concorde, and the new LH New Yorker was released in May 1993 as an early 1994 model, so the 1993 car marked the end of the C platform New Yorker and of the front wheel drive family that had begun in 1988, with the Fifth Avenue and Imperial leaving at the same time.
