In 1992 the Carol was further lengthened to 329 centimeters, the second change to its size after the new kei car rules of 1990. It was still the Autozam Carol, built by Suzuki for Mazda on the platform of the Suzuki Alto, with a 657 cc F6A engine, naturally aspirated at 52 PS or turbocharged at 61 PS. Four-wheel drives received a five-speed gearbox. The Autozam brand was Mazda's youthful brand and was used on Mazda's kei cars for some time.
