The 1991 Honda CRX ended the second generation, with Tahitian green taking the place of Barbados yellow on the Si and Frost white replacing Polar white. A new Civic based car with a targa top, the Honda CR-X del Sol, took over from the CR-X in 1992 and has its own page on this site; some enthusiasts count it as the third generation CR-X. Nearly 400,000 CR-Xs were produced from 1983 until 1991. Neighbouring model years are linked from this page.
