Beginning in 1991 Turkey's Otosan also produced a P100 variant, with a separate bed, based on the Taunus TC that it also built as a sedan. The Sierra based P100 for Europe went on in 1991 from Portugal as a pickup with the Sierra's front end. It began as the Cortina Pickup and ended in 1995 on the Sierra, built in Portugal. The P100 was a coupe utility pickup that Ford built on the front half of a family car, sold first in South Africa and then in Europe.
