Starting out as a fairly utilitarian truck, more comfortable versions were gradually added in most markets. The second generation Triton of 1990 was in its fifth year, with the locally developed L200 Sport range popular in New Zealand, more stylish and often featuring two tone paint, offered with five different engines. The Triton is a mid-size pickup truck, also known as the Mitsubishi L200, produced by Mitsubishi Motors.
