1990 Ford Festiva

Automobiles

A minor facelift for the 1990 North American model year changed the Festiva from a carburetor to fuel injection, with a five speed manual or an optional three speed automatic. Motorized front seat belts replaced manual ones in the United States, though Canadian cars kept the manual belts. The Festiva was a small Mazda designed hatchback that Ford sold in several markets, some of them under other names. Kia in South Korea built most of the cars sold under the Festiva and Aspire names, and sold the same design as the Pride and the Avella.
