1989 Geo Tracker

Automobiles

The Tracker was introduced in late 1988 as a 1989 model, and nearly all 1989 cars and some 1990 cars were built in Japan and imported to the United States because of delays at the CAMI factory in Canada. The trim levels in 1989 were a base convertible, a base two door hardtop, a two door XL bed and an LSi hardtop, powered by Suzuki's 1.6 liter four cylinder engine producing 80 horsepower. The 1989 Tracker was imported from Japan, where Suzuki built it as the Sidekick twin.
