1987 Honda VFR750F

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The VFR750FH of 1987 continued the first VFR750F design, alongside the VFR700F2 and the HRC VFR750RK race-kitted version for TT F1 endurance and AMA Superbike racing. For 1987 the factory bike of AMA champion Fred Merkel passed to Bubba Shobert, who took third place in 1987 and earned points that gained him victory in the AMA Grand National. A race kit for the 1986 and 1987 VFR from HRC cost 4,000 US dollars.
