1988 Honda VFR750F

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The 1988 Mk IA VFR750 had several revisions: a fairing redesign from two pieces to three, a two-position flip-up screen, a redesigned exhaust, stronger 41 mm fork legs, a more reliable ignition system, larger engine valves for improved midrange and larger carburetors, and 17 inch wheels front and rear. A clock and fuel gauge were added. Honda did not import this model into the US. Bubba Shobert won three of the seven races and the AMA superbike championship in 1988.
