1986 Ford Sierra

Automobiles

In July 1986 a special version, the Sierra RS Cosworth, was launched with a 2.0 liter OHC bottom end and a 16 valve DOHC head specially developed by Cosworth. With its Garrett turbocharger and intercooler it produced 204 PS, and it was made in Ford's Genk factory in Belgium for Group A racing, based on the three door body with the dashboard from the Merkur XR4Ti. In Argentina the non injected XR4 with the Taunus 2.3 engine was built from 1986.
