1986 Ford Scorpio

Automobiles

The 1986 Scorpio was widely praised as very comfortable and spacious, particularly for its rear legroom, in a hatchback body sitting on a stretched floorpan of the Sierra. Ford built on the extensive specification of the outgoing Mark II Granada by adding features unusual on a mass market car, including a heated windscreen, cruise control and electrically adjustable seats front and rear, and later all wheel drive. In the UK and Ireland it was badged Granada.
