The Corcel ended in 1986, leaving the Del Rey as the main family car of Ford do Brasil, and the old Belina was discontinued, with its name passed to what had been the Scala wagon as the Del Rey Belina. The Del Rey had a 1.6 litre CHT engine or a 1.8 litre Volkswagen unit. The Del Rey was a large family car that Ford built in Brazil, based on the Corcel II and sold under the Belina name as a wagon. It ran on either petrol or ethanol and was replaced by the Versailles, a Volkswagen Santana based car.
