1985 Pontiac Grand Prix

Automobiles

For 1985 Grand Prixes included a new checkerboard grille design as well as an optional two tone paint scheme with a fading body stripe, and the octagonal GP logo returned to the taillights. The standard engine was the 110 horsepower Buick built 3.8 liter V6 with a 150 horsepower Chevy 5.0 liter V8 optional, and an ad promoted that its instrument panel still used dials for gauges. 1985 was the last year for the flat rear deck panel in the interior.
