The original Camira, the JB series, was introduced in August 1982 with a major trans Tasman marketing campaign, and the Camira was Wheels magazine's Car of the Year for 1982. The Camira replaced the Sunbird and Torana, although an interim four cylinder version of the Commodore bridged the two year production gap. Early models suffered from quality control problems. This page belongs to the Holden Camira model on its Holden make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
