1977 Pontiac Bonneville

Automobiles

The Bonneville was significantly downsized for 1977, with the Bonneville and Catalina 14 inches shorter in length, over four inches narrower and 800 pounds lighter than their 1976 counterparts, while offering increased headroom, rear seat legroom and trunk space. Only a pillared four door sedan and two door coupe were offered, and the Safari station wagon returned to the lineup for the first time since 1970, in six and nine passenger configurations, with the new 301 cubic inch V8 of 135 horsepower as the standard engine.
