The Minicab was modified again in April 1977, when it was widened and received a full 546 cc engine and the new name Minicab Wide 55, the L013, with power raised marginally to 29 PS. The 471 cc engine had not taken full advantage of the new rules, which allowed up to 550 cc, and it was used only in a short lived group of interim models. The Minicab was also sold in some export markets as the Mitsubishi L100. The Minicab was sold in Japan at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop.
