1977 Mitsubishi Lancer

Automobiles

The A70 Lancer in 1977 was in its fifth year on sale and had a five door station wagon that was built until it was replaced by the front wheel drive Lancer and Mirage Van in March 1984. The Lancer Celeste hatchback had been added in 1975. In rallying, the 1600 GSR had already won the Safari Rally twice and the Southern Cross Rally four times, and the Colt Lancer name was used in some European markets. The Lancer was also sold in many countries as the Dodge Colt, Plymouth Colt and Chrysler Valiant Lancer.
