1974 Pontiac Grand Am

Automobiles

Described on the front cover of its four page brochure as the mid sized Pontiac with foreign intrigue and American ingenuity, the 1974 Grand Am showed only minor styling changes, and its rear end was redesigned for the new 5 mile per hour crash standards with vertical rear taillights and a relocated license plate and fuel filler above the bumper. Engine and transmission offerings were the same as 1973, but four speed manuals were no longer offered in California.
