Safety requirements for the 1974 model year added 5 mile an hour bumpers to the Satellite sedans and wagons. The Satellite name was dropped after 1974, and from 1975 Plymouth's intermediate cars on the B body chassis took the Fury name instead. It was the last year of the Satellite name in Plymouth's line, and the later B body Plymouths were sold as the Fury with the Road Runner as its top model. It used the B body.
