1970 Toyota Crown

Automobiles

The Crown enjoyed its best American season in 1970, when 6,528 were sold. Double cab pickups made by the former Central Motors stayed in production only until December 1970, and the pickup versions left the line in February 1971 when the Hilux took over load carrying. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Crown (third generation, S50), 1967 to 1970, and the Toyota Crown (fourth generation, S60 and S70) came next, following the 1969 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
