In September 1969 the Mark II went through a mid model refresh and new trim packages were added. The US exported versions arrived for the 1969 model year and often included the more powerful R series motors compared to other regions. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Mark II (first generation, T60 and T70), 1968 to 1971, and the Toyota Mark II (second generation, X10 and X20) came next, following the 1968 model year.
