In mid-1969 the A12 package was introduced on the Super Bee, with a 390 horsepower version of the 440 with three two barrel Holley carburetors and a black fiberglass lift off hood. The base Coronet was dropped in 1969, which left the Deluxe as the lowest trim level through 1970. The Coronet R/T two door hardtop and convertible continued, and the Super Bee was a two door coupe or hardtop. Chrysler displayed a convertible with Super Bee stripes at 1968 shows but never put it into production.
