In March 1968 the production of the Publica Van version was moved to Hino Motors, after that company was taken over by Toyota, and 1968 also saw the launch of the Publica Super version with the engine of the Sports 800. The former Central Motors produced the Publica convertible until December 1968. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Publica (second series, P20), 1966 to 1968, and the Toyota Publica (third series, P30 and P50) came next, following the 1967 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Publica run from 1961 to 1978.
