A restyled and higher trimmed Sport Satellite with a standard 318 V8 was introduced in 1968, sitting above the regular Satellite and wearing the same blacked out grille as the Road Runner. Four door sedan and station wagon versions were offered on the Satellite line. The 1968 model year also saw the introduction of the Road Runner, which shared the Satellite's body. The Road Runner and the Satellite shared the same body in 1968, as did the Belvedere.
