The last convertible available in the American series was in 1967, and it was moved up from 440 models to join the hardtop in the Rogue trim version. The American was available in nine models, and was the only United States compact to be available in all body styles. Out of the total production of 69,912 Rambler Americans for the 1967 model year, 921 were Rogue convertibles. All 1967 Rambler Americans included lap belts for all seating positions and a collapsible, energy absorbing steering column.
