The Bongo of 1967 was in its second year, the rear engined van with a 782 cc water cooled OHV SA four stroke engine driving the rear wheels. It was a cabover van, sold in Japan as a delivery van and a passenger coach, and as a cab over pickup truck on the same platform. It also formed the basis for the long running Kia Bongo range. The Bongo was also known as the Ford Econovan and Eunos Cargo, and it has been built with rear, middle and front mounted engines.
