In South Africa the Anglia's popularity came late, with sales taking off in early 1966 with the local introduction of the Anglia Super. The Super only arrived in South Africa in 1966, although it considerably boosted sales. The Anglia 123E Super was sold alongside the 105E in Britain, with a larger engine, with the base Standard, the Deluxe and the Super trim levels. The Anglia was a small two door family car made by Ford of Britain.
