Beginning with the 1964 model year the Skylark had enough sales to merit its own separate line, on an intermediate size chassis shared with the Oldsmobile F 85, Pontiac Tempest and Chevrolet Chevelle, and both Buicks had a length of 203.5 inches. In its place the standard aluminum V8 gave way to a new 225 cubic inch cast iron V6 making 155 horsepower. This page belongs to the Buick Skylark model on its Buick make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
