For 1963 the Chevy II Nova Super Sport was released under RPO Z03, at a cost of 161.40 dollars, though the Nova option could not officially have V8 engines at the time, so the standard SS engine was the six cylinder. Available engines in 1962 and 1963 included Chevrolet's 153 cubic inch four and a new 194 cubic inch Hi-Thrift six. In 1962 and 1963 the Nova was available as a convertible, and the two door hardtop was sold from 1962 to 1965.
