1962 Ford Country Sedan

A safety lockout in the Country Sedan tailgate of 1962 required the rear window to be fully retracted into the gate before the gate could be lowered. It was a mid trim wagon with plain body sides in the Galaxie class of the full size Ford range. The Country Sedan was the mid trim station wagon of the full size Ford range, with plain body sides. It was the cheaper wagon beside the woodgrain Country Squire and outsold the Squire in every year.
