1960 Chrysler 300 letter series

Automobiles

The 1960 300F offered a 375 horsepower cross ram version of the 413 wedge engine, and a special 400 horsepower short ram version for competition, of which only fifteen were built with an exotic French manual transmission. It had four individual leather bucket seats and a full length console from dash to rear seatback, and the bodywork was redone with Chrysler's new lightweight unibody, so that the 300 lost its unique styling. Sales rose to 969 coupes and 248 convertibles, at $5,411 and $5,841.
