Automobiles

The 1958 Metropolitan was the last of the Series III cars, sold only as the Metropolitan through Rambler dealers. After the production number of January 9, 1958 the color Sunburst Yellow was replaced by Autumn Yellow and Classic Black was added to the available exterior colors. The Series III hardtop was priced at 1,527 dollars and the convertible at 1,551 dollars, and the car had by then been sold under the Metropolitan name alone for the whole model year, following the end of the Nash and Hudson names.
