The last Nash Ambassadors of 1957 were the first cars with quad headlights as standard equipment, stacked vertically in the front fender pontoons, and they had larger front wheel openings and 14 inch wheels. The standard engine was the new American Motors V8, a larger version of the 1956 unit rated at 255 horsepower. Fewer than 3,600 big Nash cars were built before the last Nash Ambassador left the Kenosha line.
