The E83W ended production in 1957 after nineteen years at the Dagenham assembly plant of Ford of Britain, which had made it since 1938. It was a ten hundredweight light commercial vehicle, sold as a Fordson and a Thames, and as the Ten Ten in Australia. It was sold as a Fordson and later as a Thames, and exported widely as Britain sought export sales after the war. The E83W was a half ton light commercial vehicle that Ford of Britain built at Dagenham, with a small side valve engine.
