A facelift of the Anglia 100E was announced in October 1957. This included a new mesh radiator grille, new front lamp surrounds, a larger rear window, larger taillights and chrome bumpers. The car remained a two door saloon with a 36 horsepower side valve engine, vacuum powered windscreen wipers that slowed or stopped when climbing steep hills, and separate chassis construction replaced by a unitary body. It was related to the four door Ford Prefect.
