The 1952 Anglia continued as the E494A, with the sloped, twin lobed radiator grille and a very spartan specification, the lowest priced four wheel car in Britain, and also built in Australia as the A494A in four door saloon, tourer, coupe utility and roadster utility models. Including all production, 108,878 E494A Anglias were built before it ceased in October 1953 and continued as the Ford Popular. The Anglia was a small two door family car made by Ford of Britain.
