1947 Rolls-Royce Wraith (1938)

Automobiles

The final Wraith was delivered in 1947, nine years after the model's introduction. In early 1946 sixteen prewar chassis were bodied and delivered to the government. The Wraith had drum brakes assisted by a mechanical servo patented by Hispano-Suiza and built by Rolls-Royce under licence, and wire wheels of 17 inch diameter, and the first post war Rolls-Royce was the Silver Wraith. The Wraith was built at Derby.
