1947 Lincoln Continental

Automobiles

For 1947 walnut wood trim was added to the interior of the Continental, which in the postwar years was derived from the standard Lincoln, internally the H-Series, and distinguished by the grille introduced for 1946. The design had been refreshed to attract buyers after the war. The Continental was nearing the end of its first run, which would end after the 1948 model year, with the nameplate briefly retired from 1949 to 1955.
