1924 Ford Model T

Automobiles

The price had fallen to 290 dollars by 1924, from 780 dollars in 1910, thanks to the volume of the assembly line. The 1924 car had the newer hood, with a steeper taper, and the same four cylinder engine of 177 cubic inches that Ford kept producing for replacement and for stationary and marine uses until 1941, long after the car itself was gone. Wooden artillery wheels were still standard, with steel wheels not offered until 1926.
