1985 Honda Legend

Automobiles

The 1985 Honda Legend reached Japan on October 22, 1985, the first production Honda sold solely with a SOHC V6 engine worldwide. Its introduction coincided with the launch of the new Honda Clio dealership sales channel in Japan. Buyers in Japan could pick from three trims: the V6Xi with a 2.5 liter C25A V6, and the V6Gi and V6Zi, a little shorter and narrower, with a 2.0 liter C20A V6. It was a result of Project XX, a joint venture with Britain's Austin Rover Group.
