In 1967 the FD Victor was inspired by the contemporary Coke bottle styling that had emanated from Detroit, five years before the Ford Cortina Mark III. It was fitted with all new 1599 cc and 1975 cc engines, the Slant Four, that were the first British mass produced belt driven overhead camshaft engines, and the car also featured a bonded in windscreen, the first for a mass produced car. This page belongs to the Vauxhall Victor model on its Vauxhall make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
