1989 Toyota Crown

Automobiles

The top Royal Saloon G of 1989 carried the world's first car navigation system based on a CD-ROM, shown on a color tube display. A light facelift followed in August with a more aerodynamic front and rear and new bumpers, and the Crown was assembled again in Indonesia. It was model year 3 of 4 in the Toyota Crown (eighth generation, S130), 1987 to 1990, coming after the 1988 model year and before the 1990 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
