1973 Triumph Stag

Automobiles

For the 1973 model year a number of engineering changes were made, and when introduced in 1973 the most notable differentiating feature between Mark 1 and Mark 2 Stags was the addition of twin coachlines to the body. The sills and tail panel colour was also altered from body colour to low gloss black, and the overdrive option was included as standard for all manual cars from 1973. Five spoke alloy wheels became standard in the US.
