1937 Triumph Gloria

Automobiles

The Southern Cross open two seat model ended in 1937, having been built from 1934 and using a name previously applied to the sports version of the Triumph Super 9. The final two Gloria models, the 1.5 Litre Saloon and the Fourteen horsepower Six Light Saloon of 1937 and 1938, were not powered by Coventry Climax designed engines like the earlier Glorias. The Gloria range ended in 1938. The six cylinder range continued into its last year.
